Warranty Policy

Overview
RobotX does not provide its own warranty for products sold through the RobotX website. All warranty coverage is provided solely by the original product manufacturer, subject to the manufacturer’s terms, conditions, limitations, and approval.

RobotX’s role is limited to assisting customers with manufacturer communication when possible. RobotX does not guarantee warranty approval, repair outcomes, replacement decisions, or turnaround timelines.

Manufacturer Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage, duration, and eligibility vary by product and manufacturer.

Where available, manufacturer warranty details are listed on individual product pages. Customers are responsible for reviewing manufacturer warranty terms prior to purchase.

For certain manufacturers (including but not limited to Unitree Robotics), customers may be required to contact the manufacturer directly to confirm warranty coverage and eligibility.

All final warranty determinations—including approval, repair versus replacement, and service timelines—are made exclusively by the manufacturer.

RobotX’s Role
RobotX may assist customers by:

  • Facilitating communication with the manufacturer

  • Collecting preliminary information to support a warranty inquiry

  • Assisting with logistics coordination when reasonably possible

RobotX does not:

  • Provide warranty coverage

  • Guarantee manufacturer decisions or outcomes

  • Cover manufacturer repair or replacement costs

  • Cover shipping, labor, downtime, or related expenses under warranty

Reporting Warranty Issues
Customers should report potential warranty issues as soon as reasonably possible after discovery to allow timely coordination with the manufacturer.

To assist with a warranty inquiry, RobotX may require:

  • Proof of purchase from RobotX

  • Order number

  • Product serial number(s)

  • Photos and/or videos demonstrating the issue

  • Basic troubleshooting information

Failure to provide required information may delay or prevent warranty assistance.

Warranty Eligibility and Limitations
Manufacturer warranty coverage may be denied or voided if the issue results from:

  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs

  • Improper storage, transportation, or handling

  • Use of unsupported or third-party accessories

  • Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear

Warranty eligibility and limitations are determined solely by the manufacturer and may vary by product.

Software, Firmware, and AI Behavior
Software, firmware, and AI-driven functionality—including autonomy, navigation, voice interaction, perception accuracy, and system behavior—are continuously evolving and are not guaranteed to be error-free.

Software, firmware, or AI model updates may:

  • Modify system behavior or performance

  • Add, remove, or alter features

  • Improve or limit system responses

Such changes do not constitute a defect and are not covered under warranty.

Repairs Outside of Warranty
RobotX may offer paid diagnostic, repair, or expedited service options outside of manufacturer warranty coverage.

  • RobotX labor and repair services are not covered under manufacturer warranty

  • Repair or service quotes may be provided upon request

  • All paid services require separate approval and payment

Geographic Limitations
RobotX warranty assistance is available only within the United States and only for products purchased directly from RobotX.

Manufacturer warranty coverage may vary by region and is subject to manufacturer policies.

Original Purchaser Requirement
To receive warranty assistance through RobotX, the claimant must be the original purchaser and provide a valid RobotX order number.

Transferability of manufacturer warranties is determined solely by the manufacturer.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RobotX shall not be responsible for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of revenue, missed opportunities, or downtime

  • Business interruption or data loss

No Implied Warranties
RobotX makes no implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. All warranties are provided exclusively by the manufacturer, to the extent permitted by law.
